Since the Kentucky Derby was this last weekend, we are putting our At The Races kit in the $2 bin this week.  Even if you aren’t a horse racing fan, this kit is great for Equestrian, English Riding Lessons, or it even has plenty of other embellishments to scrap any type of layout.  Images are linked

At The Horse Races - CT freebies

Good morning!  How is everyone today?  It is the last day of school here and it is hard to believe since we just had snow here a couple days ago.  I am glad I haven’t had to run the air conditioner yet though.

The Stuff to Scrap contest “This Scrapper’s Got Talent” has begun.  Check the forum or gallery to see the layouts that will be posted up thru Sunday night and get to know the contestants a little better.  There are some amazing layouts already.  It’s gonna be hard for the judges.

A Day At The Races and a Freebie QP

A number of months ago, a forum member requested a horse racing kit and we decided to take it on.  We decided to add other things in like Steeplechase, riding lessons, and equestrian in addition to the derby racing.  We love how it turned out and hope you will also.  My favorite things in this kit are the hats that Heidi made.  They remind me of My Fair Lady!  Images are linked to the store and the kit is on sale for the first week.  AND just in case you aren’t a horse racer, take a look at what our CT did with it to see how versatile it can be.  The colors are awesome!

These first two layouts were done by Marissa, the one who requested the kit.  If I have my story correct, this horse ran in the Kentucky Derby and won the Preakness horse race.


Jennifer (AKA Scrapalicious Cereal) has a daughter that does horse shows, so when she saw the kit, she wanted to work with it and her layouts turned out awesome!  These next two are from her.
