Southern Utah Beauty and a QP Freebie

Have any of you ever been to Southern Utah? Zions, Arches, Moab, Capitol Reef, Lake Powell??? Well if you haven't, you should plan a vacation. It is an amazing place. The red rock formations are absolutely beautiful. Then you should buy this kit to scrapbook your vacation!

I did two layouts, this first one is from one of Utah's many slot canyons that are a blast to hike because they are narrow and have these huge rock formation walls, so it is shady the whole time. I did this one for the STS Newsletter Template Challenge. You can get the template and the newsletter filled with lots of freebies from the STS blog. Make sure you sign up for the newsletter so you don't miss any edition.

and this one is from Goblin Valley which is our favorite place to play hide and seek! I did this one for the recipe challenge in the STS forum.

DUDE QP freebie

I noticed this great kit in the store that was recently released by The Scrappy Kat and knew I just had to have it. It is called DUDE! Who out there with teenage boys doesn't need this kit?! I loved it, especially since I have 3 guitarists and a drummer at my house.

So, I made a layout with it of my oldest DS playing the guitar and had a request for it to be made into a QP from Amy who saw it in the gallery. So, the Scrappy Kat has graciously allowed me to make it into a freebie QP for you all! So, since she is so kind, you should all go buy her awesome kit. I know you all have Guitar Hero or Rock Band players at your house!

STS Forum Challenges

Have you tried out the challenges at Stuff to Scrap? Each month we have a whole list of fun challenges in the forum. I love them all because they make me thing outside the box and scrap things or ways that I wouldn't normally. I've grown so much and learned so many new things it is simply amazing. Plus I've made tons of new friends!

I am hostessing two challenges this month in the forum. I'd love for you to check them out! The first is the template challenge. You can get the template by clicking on the preview below. It is kind of a strange template, so look at the example below plus all the wonderful layouts done so far in the forum.

I'm also hostess for the slogan/motto challenge. This challenge is to use a famous slogan/motto in your layout. You will have to click here to go to the forum to see what it is. Hope to see you all there!

Lucky Charm QP Freebie

So, have you gone to congratulate the new Designer Darlings at Stuff to Scrap?! There are some brand new designers and they are all gettting ready to fill their stores. Since they are all getting their CT's in place right now (hint, hint, there are calls for CTs in the forum), I volunteered to help them advertise their new kits while they are working through the whirlwind associated with selling at a new store.

$2 Tuesday and Store Mega Collab

I almost totally spaced $2 Tuesday. Man the new forum stuff is burning me out the last couple days. Good thing I had a reminder on Outlook or I wouldn't have put anything in the bin. We have our "A Man's Best Friend" kit and QP pack in the $2 bin this week. Great for almost any pet you might have. The Store Mega Collab kit is out and in the store now! It is called Lucky You and is great for St Patty's day photos, but there is lots of other stuff in there too and with blues and greens you can use it for lots of layouts!
