Scraps N Pieces is so excited to be the Featured Designer at Stuff to Scrap starting on Monday the 23rd. To celebrate, they have lots of fun for YOU!

First off, they will be having a scavenger hunt in our store at Stuff to Scrap. It will start on Monday and you get a $2 coupon to their store if you get those all correct. Scavenger hunt list and instructions will be in the forum at Stuff to Scrap. There will also be a special challenge in that same area of the forum where you can grab a coupon code for some additional savings on all of their MUSIC related kits and if you participate in it, with one of their music kits, you can earn another $2 coupon to their store. You can earn a $1 coupon if you participate in it with one of their kits other than a music kit.

Next, they will be having a designer chat on Tuesday the 24th at 3pm MT. Nothin’ But Net – New Release

Since we retired our old basketball kit (which was the first kit we ever made, and boy was it pathetic), we decided it was time for a new one. I know we should release it in March when March Madness is going on, but my boys are playing basketball right now so I figured this was a good time also. It is called Nothin' But Net and is great for teens and little boys playing city league as well. Plus, we added some girly stuff to this one for the girl basketball players out there and wait till you see the non-basketball layouts our CT did with this kit! Sign up for the FREE beginning Photoshop and Photoshop Elements classes at Scraps N Pieces! Even though it is free, class size will be limited so we can help everyone with any questions. This is a VERY VERY beginner course. It will cover all of the very basic functions of making a layout with these programs. If you don't have the program, you can download a 30 day free trial from adobe.com but make sure you download right when the class is starting so you have some time to play with it. It won't last the whole class time, but hopefully once you are into it a few weeks you will love it so much you will want to buy it anyway. Details are on the flier below, click on it to sign up in our forum.

If you have a fairly basic knowledge of the program, you may want to wait to sign up for our Photoshop Techniques class in February and we will also be doing a designer mentoring class beginning in March. All will be FREE!

Tribute To Tyler

A few weeks ago, one of our forum members approached us with the story of little Tyler Burdick, a beautiful 2 year old baby boy who was diagnosed with Infant Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at 4 months old. We were thrilled to be able to take part in this awesome collab for Tyler along with many other designers in digi-land.

Unfortunately, Tyler passed away on November 2, 2011. Miss Mis Designs has helped coordinate this wonderful kit to benefit Tyler's family.

2012 Calendar QP pack

So, lots and lots of you have purchased our wooden calendar with the QP pack from last year to do your pages to change out in the frame. It is solid wood with a frame at the top with a 12x12 opening so you can change out your layouts monthly and the bottom is metal with a vinyl calendar that you can use a dry erase marker on or use magnets with little notes. I saw a couple comments that some of you were wishing for a new 12 page QP pack so you can make new layouts for 2012, so your wish is our command.

We have a brand new calendar 12 page pack that you can use in the calendar above if you have one, or, you can use it to do a 12 month recap of your year for your scrapbook or make a calendar page for the bottom, do the QPs for the top, have them bound and use them for just a regular wall calendar.
