Summer Fun

This is made from a kit that Laurie's Scraps released a while ago called Summer Fun, but it is still pretty new and I loved it, so she let me go back and make a QP with it. It has lots of cute little swimmer sticker people in it, but my son is older so I didn't want to make it too cutsie, but they are perfect for little kid pages. Loved the wavy stitching in this kit too!

I did say he was older, but maybe not so mature yet! LOL! Sometimes he still likes to act like a dork! I did two layouts but only 1 QP, so go to Laurie's site and see how to get this cute kit for yourself so you can create your own 2nd page. The templates I used for both of these pages were made by someone in my scrap class again. Thanks Janice!

Summer Days

Another summer kit! It is definitely looking a little closer to that today here. I think it is supposed to get up to like 76 or something, so we are making progress.

DigiDesigns by Nicole has a collab with Britt that is out this week. The colors are so cute and it has an adorable watermelon that I so wanted to use but didn't have pictures to go with it. I'm definitely using it for my invitations for our annual watermelon bust this year though! Here is your double page layout made with a template from Janice from my scrap class. Isn't it fun!
These are actually Spring Break pictures, not summer pictures. We went to a pool down in St. George and they have these lily pad things to go across and it is really quite hard. My youngest son tried and tried the whole time we were there. I think he only made it all the way across 3 or 4 times but he was determined and never gave up the whole 4 hours we were there.

Summer Nights Dream and a speed scrap

Well, it doesn't feel much like summer here, we actually got snow again yesterday and this morning, but it is feeling a bit more like Spring this afternoon.

Charlie's latest kit is great for any of you that like whimsical. It is called Summer Night's Dream. She has some great unique embellishments again that are beautiful and you have got to go to her blog to see all of the wonderful layouts. I especially love LouAnn's baby layout, it is gorgeous. Makes me wish I had a little girl.

Here is my layout. This kit would have been much easier if I had a girl, but I was able to get it to work with this picture of my son and I thought the green matched the dress of the girl exceptionally well.

There is another speed scrap at Stuff to Scrap tomorrow night. I wish I could make it but I am getting my hair cut at that same time and I need it bad.

Pure Perfection and a Speed Scrap

Good morning everyone! I'm here apologizing profusely for not getting my page up yesterday. My interenet went down last night at 4:30 and just came back up this morning. We called our internet service provider and they told us it was our modem, so my husband went and bought a brand new one and when he got it set up it still didn't work, so he called them back and they told us it was a regional outage problem. So our modem was fine. Glad we spent that $80 bucks for nothing.

Baby Boy and National Scrapbooking Day

Laurie has another adorable kit out this week. It is called Baby Boy and I love that it is not just the same old pastel colors. It has really cute little felt items too that you will just love! Also, next week stay tuned for a baby girl kit that is just as cute. Template that I used is from MOriginals.

Floral Fusion 2

Pre publishing because I'm out of town for Spring Break, hopefully having fun although it has been snowing here. Here is your 2nd QP from the collab with Amber at Stolen Moments and Digi-Designs by Nicole. It is so cute and Spring-y. I loved it even though I don't have any girls. The template for this one was another one done by one of the ladies in my class I'm teaching. Another great one!

Mommy's Little Monster

Hi all! Great news! I will be more regularly posting Laurie's Scraps QPs on Wednesday's now! She just created her 1st creative team, and I am on it. I was unofficially creating for her before, but now it is official. So here is my first official assignment. This kit is so cute and you will love what the rest of the creative team came up with. It is called Mommy's Little Monster and there is a freebie mini kit and a free alpha on her blog right now! The template is from 3s Enough and you can click on the preview to get the download.This is a girl kit, but I came up with a boy page. You can always go buy her kit and get the girly stuff to add on your own because there is lots of white space. This is my cute hubby playing with his PSP.

Well, I'm late today, but this kit is totally worth it. Amber at Stolen Moments and Nicole at Digi-Designs by Nicole have done another wonderful collab. They are doing it different this time. They are both selling their part and the other part together ar their stores and you can get both parts together on their blogs this week. I have been teaching a Photoshop digital scrapbooking for my friends and neighbors and a couple of relatives. It has been fun and a few weeks ago the lesson was on making a template from your layout. One of my students made the template I used for this page. She did a great job!

Leapin Lily Frogs

I'm finally back with a layout with one of Laurie's Scraps kits. WHen I saw this kit released a while ago, I knew it was one I had to have. I love how deep and rich the colors are and it was so fun to work with. I used one of Laurie's templates for this QP also. Here is my layout. My parents are serving a mission for our church in Cleveland Ohio. They spend their days imaging old records in this building for use by anyone in doing family research or geneology work. They have these cool little pieces of hardware that they have found that hold the documents together. Like paperclips, only cooler. I think I need to have them take better photos of them so I can extract them and use them in a kit because they are so cool.
